Up next, Drew Kiddo the 22 yr old West Orlando raised artist with a crazy harmonic flow that is signatured with his smooth R&B tone. Drew comes at you this month with his latest visual of "Groov" shot and Co Directed by none other than ChekTheCredits. His latest album "Don't Sell Me Dreams" released this past May shows you just how diverse Drew can get in the studio. His love for music and the ability to grab the listeners attention go hand and hand, his greatest joy is seeing people enjoy what he has to say. On and off stage Drew has got an energy that just grabs your attention.
S : When is it you first started to make music?
DK: "When I was 9 years old I went to Wal Mart, bought a $10 dollar mic and used the recorder on my computer and played music over the mic while I rapped, Lmfaoo"
S : Haha, that's priceless Kiddo, So what you do next, who were your influences back then?
DK : "My big brother, he used to rap, I liked it a lot. Played with it a little at 9, made a few songs but when I went to jail at 16 for two years that's what made me really love it. it became an outlet for and that's when I began to take it serious.
S : You guys made music together? Is he still around making music with ya?
DK : "Nah, he went off to do promoting in Jersey, he was a big promoter back in the "Myspace" days but ironically I became the report. He told me recently I'm what he always wanted to be and he's proud."
S : That's dope! So after your time in county, what was on Drew's "To Do List"?
DK : "Man get to this rap shit!! Wasn't none else, my main goal was get heard. F*ck finishing school, F*ck everything, GET KNOWN. GET KNOWN. GET KNOWN.
S : I saw you perform for the first time at playhouse, what's performing live like for you?
DK : "Man its indescribable, it's a feeling that I can't explain but when I'm performing, I'm in a place where I can't touched.
