Next up is the determined to make it known he is Undeniably one of the best up yet, Lil Aye. With his video for "Whole Nother" just being released and featured on NextUpTV; Lil Aye is making the moves needed to be heard in the South of Florida.
Born and raised in Broward County, Aye has been on his music grind since a young age, from teaming up with the start up L's Up Entertainment house parties to turning it into an independent recording label.
How does the every day life of Lil Aye play out?
"It's very busy, being apart of an Independent Label I have a lot to do. From scheduling studio times to answering emails to hitting my actual 9to5 to making beats in my spare time. It's a lot of work but I also have my team that helps out a lot and will soon benefit from it."
How long ago did the label start up?
"L's Up Ent, it started like 9 years ago, first as a djing thing. We used to throw parties and we'd play our own music at these parties, so then we started to take it more serious on the music side."
So over the course of time, have you noticed the growth in your music?
"Yeah, *pause* Ive noticed. Tone and pronunciation, knowing when to pronounce the word correctly or to say in a slang. I used to be terrible but I loved music too much so I stuck to it til I got better; and now I just keep getting better, it's scary *laughs* "
Lil Aye has already released two mixtapes Undeniable 1 and 2, which have been climbing the soundcloud boards with the help New Era Promotions, who seem to be running things down in Broward County with their methods of promotion on Soundcloud. He is also to be featured on ,Kodak Black's, DJ Showtime "Welcome to Florida" mixtape. Aye will be along side a few others like AG Almighty, Trina Rockstar, Real Ball Greezy and 300 Rez. "Welcome to Florida" should be released later this June. Be on the Lookout!
