Robert "Rawb" Selfridge JR , is a 23 year old hip/hop artist born and raised in Orlando, Florida. His musical influences come from different directions. Though having since retired from the strings, Raw_b's father Bob, (Robert SR), was a bass player for the majority of his life, playing in mostly 70/80's cover bands. With the blaring of garage speakers throughout the night, while his dad was practicing, Raw_b was also exposed to the different sounds such as Eminem, Beastie Boys, Limp Bizkit, 2Pac and BIG, Sade, Queen, and much more. Up until the age of 16, Raw_b was merely just a fan of the genre; not considering a career in the sport, though that all changed when exposed to rising local talents in his very own city. Being surrounded by such diversity in Orlando, Florida, when the hip hop / rapper wave hit, there was a sort of, explosion of culture, and In his words -"It caught me". -" I was always a punk kid, going to warped tour, earth day birthday, and just shows in general. I like Asking Alexandria , Attack Attack and A Day to Remember, but I also like Gucci Mane. I always listened to rap and hip hop but up until pretty recently I had no interest to be a rapper. 5 years ago I was grunting and humming for hours a day "preparing" my throat to be a heavy metal screamer".

Now, with a mixtape (Summer in the Subherbs) and album out (Raw_b Rapswell "Self Titled") along with a music video gaining steady momentum it seems the tone is set for this rising energetic character.
